Inspection
Colorado home inspectors are the only piece of the home-buying process not regulated in some way. There are no requirements to be a home inspector; simply print a business card and you are a home inspector. This means that a so-called “home inspector” may have just about as much experience as you do at evaluating the condition of a house. We have 35 years of experience in dealing with inspectors, have participated in over 2000 real estate transactions, and built over 1000 homes in Colorado. By incorporating specific building trades such as structural engineers, roofers, HVAC specialists, and sewer line technicians to perform your home inspection, we can be confident that we have a clear understanding of the condition of the home you’re buying.
Technology
The real estate industry remains reluctant to embrace technology while 9 out of 10 homebuyers utilize the internet, and the information it provides, while shopping for a home. Most realtors spend under $2000 a year on technology and brokerage companies remain focused on brand messaging, ignoring the rapidly changing trends in home buying.
